Since Bianchi is a high-end bicycle maker, you will learn more about their offerings.
You will be able to choose from the following cycling road bike categories:

- Hors Categorie
- Born for Performance
- Coast to Coast
- Gran Fondo
In the Hors Categorie there two bikes and neither is meant for the small budgeted person.
The
two bikes in this category are the 928 SL Super Record and Dura Ace.
The msrp for these bikes are $11,999 and $8,999 respectively.
The
reason these bikes command such a high price tag is because Bianchi
says so...do you believe this is the only reason? me neither! Now for
the real reasons...
Your 928 SL models are race ready bikes. Your SL Super Record has the highest quality components on the market.
Campagnolo
Super Record components are the best components in the Campagnolo line
up. Campagnolo components will provide you with years of very
consistent and smooth shifting.
While Shimano components are
very good Campagnolo are, in most cases, better. Thus the higher price
for their components. You will be very pleased with the performance of
Campagnolo components.
Besides from the excellent components, the 928 SL bikes are made with a high quality, low weight, impact durable carbon fiber.
You put all these things together and you have a trophy Bianchi road bike with a high price tag.
For the Born for Performance category there are four bikes. These are your typical mid-level road bikes.

You
can choose from three Mono-Q carbon bikes and one 1885 Aluminum and
carbon bike.
The Mono-Q are listed according to the component group
they have on them.
The Mono-Q frame is a solid one piece carbon fiber frame which is light weight and very durable.
You
also have your choice of some good component groups. Veloce is one of
Campagnolo's component groups, which means it is better than most.
Ultegra
and 105 are two of Shimano's component groups. They are in the mid to
upper level of Shimano's component offerings. You will get good
quality, smooth shifting from these components.
Mono-Q Veloce, Ultegra and 105. They are $3,199, $2,999 and $2,299.
The 1885 Alu Carbon Veloce retails for $2,299.
Between
Mono-Q 105 and 1885 Alu Carbon Veloce, the 1885 Alu Carbon Veloce is a
better choice due to the much better Campagnolo components.
The Coast to Coast line of bikes are along the same lines as the Born for Performance.
Given the choice between Campagnolo and Shimano components you should always chose the Campagnolo.
They
are listed as Infinito Athena, Veloce, and Ultegra. You can also get
the Via Nirone 7 105. They retail for $4499, $3499, $3100 and $1649.
The Via Nirone 7 105 has all the characteristics of a classic entry level bike except for the price.
You
should not pay more than $1500 for an entry level road bike. So that is
the reason it does not fit into the entry level category.
You
will find the Gran Fondo category has a vintage road bike feel to it.
Even though it has a vintage feel they are also up to date with the
latest components.

You will find there is more than two bikes
in the category, only two are worth mentioning here. They are the
Dolomiti and Vigorelli.
The Vigorelli has a mix of 105 and Ultegra components and is priced at $1799
Dolomiti has Campagnolo Athena components, which are very high quality, and retails for $4999.
Now you are up to date on the Bianchi road bike(s) which you should know about.
