Since you are here you fit the above criteria or know someone who does.

Do you have the tools you will need for a bike repair?

You can get a reasonably priced set for your repairs. When you have the correct tools the job is so much easier and with a lot less frustration!

Now you have the correct tools and are ready to find out what repair manual to get.

Which Cycling Repair Manual to Get?

There are a few different manuals you can get.
  • Haynes Bicycle BookBicycling Repair Manual
  • Bicycling Magazine's Complete Guide to Maintenance and Care
  • Park Tools Repair Manual
Haynes Bicycle book is by the same people who put together the automobile manuals.

The auto repair manuals are not the best manuals in the world.

So their bicycle manual is probably not as helpful as others.

Bicycling Magazine's repair manual is very informative and a great resource for any aspiring bicycle mechanic! Their manual tells you about every repair you will ever do and how to properly care for your bike.

The Park Tools manual is another good resource yet the tools they mention in their book is of course theirs. They make good tools so the choice is yours.

Either the Bicycle Magazine or the Park Tools manual will be the best choice.

You can get a good repair book for around $15 or less.

You can get a repair manual from your local bike shop. Your local bike shop will probably carry the Park Tool Repair Manual. You can also find one online at your favorite retailer, Amazon.

Depending on if you like going online or to your local cycling shop you can find a bicycle repair manual at a good price.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
