Cycling Source History is...
Here to let you know who
runs this site
and why.
Welcome!My
Name is Daniel Lilly.

I am married and have a growing family.
Right now we just have one son.
I live in the Western part of the United States. I was raised in Arizona and it is where I first became familiar with the sport.
What
really got me excited about cycling is I watched a century race which
was in Tucson, AZ. My friend and his Dad were in it. I was part of
their crew.
From that race on I was hooked. I got my first road bike shortly afterwards for $250. It was a wonderful bike... for a starter!
In my first race... I crashed about 25 miles into it!
I
was fine but my bike frame got bent. The bike smashed down on the rear
derailleur where my frame bent just enough I could not ride my bike
with out having it fixed first.
I was very disappointed I didn't even get to finish...my first race! From the very first exposure till now I have enjoyed the sport immensely.
I am not now nor ever
have been a professional in the sport. I am however passionate about it
and have loved it ever since I started.
Why the Website?
This
site came about because I wanted to share my enthusiasm for the sport
with others.
I also want to share...
The
knowledge I have gained over the years in the cycling sport.
