What Does DMT Cycling Shoes Have to Offer?

DMT cycling shoes have a lot to offer!

They have shoes for the beginner and beyond.

Their beginner shoe is like a regular shoe yet it has a place for a pedal cleat. This allows you to be able to walk normally when your off your bike.

The following are the models of shoes DMT has to offer:
  • Apex
  • Mag Force
  • Mag Light
  • Flash
  • Kyoma
  • Ultimax II
  • Evolution
The Apex is the entry level shoe. It is the one described above.

Do You Want a Metal Shoe?

DMT Cycling ShoesDepending on the type of metal it could be an improvement.

The Mag Force and Mag Light are their most advanced shoes.

Their sole is made of magnesium instead of carbon fiber or some other composite.

This cycling shoe has greater rigidity for power transfer. The magnesium provides better heat transfer which enhances comfort.

The Mag Force and the Mag Light differ only in weight. The Mag Force weighs in at 262 grams while the Mag Light is 227 grams.

What About Composite Soles?

Does carbon fiber appeal to more than metal?

DMT has shoes which have carbon fiber soles too!

The Flash shoe has what they term as an SLHC sole. The SLHC stand for super light hardened carbon.

This means the sole is reinforced between the heel and the toe for greater rider performance.

The Kyoma shoe has the same SLHC sole as the Flash. DMT Cycling Shoes

The only noticeable difference between the two shoes is the closure straps.

The Kyoma has three velcro straps for closure.

The Flash has two velcro straps plus a ratcheting strap.

DMT's Ultimax II is also a carbon fiber sole it is not however the SLHC sole.

Their Evolution shoe does not have a carbon fiber sole. Instead it has a resin composite called FG concept.

It is still a good shoe just not as stiff as their other road bike shoes.

What is On the Inside?

DMT road shoes have a sock like feel on the inside.

This provides added comfort during riding. It also helps eliminate pressure points on your foot which can lead to sore spots.

There are no seams inside, this is how they accomplish the sock like feel.

They are well ventilated for maximum cooling of your feet.

Now you know the good qualities of DMT cycling shoes and how they can benefit you.
