I would love to know how to consistently get items at wholesale prices. I am sure you are exactly the same way. Who doesn’t like to get a deal? Especially if it is on a higher priced item, like some brands of sunglasses.
I have not found the magic formula for getting items consistently at wholesale prices. You could always go to Asia and probably get them for really cheap. This is not practical for the majority of us unfortunately.
The next best thing for get good prices is via the auction sites. These are not a guarantee by any means for getting great prices. They are however pretty close.
To get a good price on a consistent basis there are certain things you should follow.
First off, know where you can get what you are looking for the cheapest on a non-auction site. This price should include shipping.
The second tip is to be patient. You might not get what you want on your first bid.
Third tip for auction sites is, find listings which finish at off peak times.
An example of this would be a listing ending early in the morning or during the work day.
Know your maximum price including shipping for the item you are watching. You could also get a bargain by watching the listing in its final minutes. Thus sneaking a bid in with in seconds of the closing timer on the item you want.
Auction sites, once you get a handle on how they work, can be lots of fun! For those of you who are new to auction site, be patient. They sometimes take time to work in your favor.
